More than ever, we have access to technological advances like social media that increase our influence among others, even those whom we have never met.
How can we use our resources and influence to better mankind? It begins in integral steps of honoring God in our individual lives.
By studying the word of God and doing what it says, we can actually begin to take on the great and loving characteristics of God. This is essential in embracing and seeping in the majesty of all-mighty God.
The principle of influence states: "Honor works like a ripple in water. Aggregate drops can move mountains and provide refreshment."
Have you ever heard of the saying, "A bad apple spoils the bunch?" The opposite is true. We are greatly influenced by good acts. Excellence begets excellence and is like iron sharpening iron. We can be condemned by our bad acts and stay in that vein. But we serve a God that is a good God, and wants us to move forward and enjoy life. It is part of our purpose because he created this planet for us to honor him in it and to enjoy its surroundings. Don't let a mistake cloud that purpose to the point where you do not move forward.
The next time you make a mistake, as all humans do, take time to seep in God's majesty. His mercy is one of his characteristics and can overcome any mishap or misfortune you have experienced. His mercies are new every morning.
