Colossians 2:18 “Let no man rob you of your prize by a voluntary humility and worshipping of the angels, dwelling in the things which he hath seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,”
Financial Scripture is a Confession point on effectively meditating on God’s word for finances previewed from Jae Magazine, covering the book of Colossians and excerpted from In Defense of Stillness by Jae Elizabeth, the world's largest scholastic compilaiton of full financial verses.
The bible defines faith as the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. When we start to worship the things of God instead of God himself, we fall into the trap of idolatry. We become vain and our thoughts turn to carnality instead of spiritual. Do not let the care of this world rob you of your true prize in Christ Jesus. Don’t focus on the things that are seen, but look to God who is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end for guidance. Then you will be able to take hold of the true abundant life that is in Christ Jesus, and have kingdom living that reflects love, joy and peace in the Holy Spirit.
