God’s best is for our benefit and for our good. In the Holy Bible, he lays out principals and precepts to live by.
The problem is, our human sinful nature makes that virtually impossible. Enter Jesus Christ, our hope and Savior, suffering and dying on the cross over 2,000 years ago to make room for the new…a new covenant of grace that allows us to live out God’s best life for us through the sacrifice he made.
We should take each day to honor God and Christ for paying the ultimate price. This gives us the freedom and grace to live a life holy unto him that carries the very heart of Jesus’ teachings: to love our God with all our heart, mind and soul, and to love our neighbors as ourselves.
Embracing this kind of love overcomes a multitude of sins, and ensures that the priority of making others hear about this good news…the gospel of Christ…spreads exponentially. It is in Christ that we move and have our being. This indeed is true living: living that exalts God and makes all people feel loved, accepted in the beloved, wanted and cherished. And that is living God’s best life for us.
